speech would be ... good language, less slang, be the same amoung friends as you would be in public. Be more aware of what you are saying.

I would add that speech is also using words to edify each other instead of using them as a weapon. Not sure I agree with the 'slang' part...that was Josh's translation; not in original text. Sorta the equivilant to 'The Message'! :)
