Erwin McManus is teaching right now on character, he used the NFL Draft as an opening illustration - about how character supposedly counts, but at the end of the day the player's ability is most valued. Every team thinks they can "work with him" but in the end often times they get burned.- Sustained success cannot happen without character.
- You need less power to motivate others when you have integrity they can follow.
- Is your character becoming more whole?
- Can you take on greater challenges than what you just completed? Can you be trusted with more power and influence?
- A whole person is a more generous person.
- Integrity is the pathway to courage.
- Your actions create a reaction, there is a cause and effect to your morality and character.
- When you tell a person what to do, you decrease their humanity. Let them solve the problem and develop character.
- The only thing that develops courage is humility.
- Humility makes us faithful.
