Last week Rick covered pride, this week Doug Fields covered envy. Some really great stuff from the life of Joseph. Here's a few of the highlights for me:
- Envy creates inaccurate judgments about other people.
- Envy hurts innocent people.
- Envy reveals the evil in one’s heart.
- Envy distracts you from the real problem. It causes you to blame the wrong thing or person.
- Envy encourages you to reduce a person down to the one who possesses something you want. Then, you refer to them in sarcastic and cynical terms.
