Just found this press release on BlueFishTV and Doug Fields' next collaborative project. Look for this resource at Simply in the coming days - we already carry Revolution 1 as well ...
Due to the overwhelming response of churches who already used last year's revolution youth study, Doug Fields, pastor at Saddleback Church and author of Purpose-Driven Youth Ministry, teamed up again with BluefishTV to create a unique youth ministry video resource called Revolution 2 for youth ministry leaders across the United States.
This youth group video series includes raw and emotional interviews with leading Christian musicians like Caedmon's Call and Bethany Dillon, World Series pitcher Andy Pettitte as well as over 25 teenagers from across the country. The 13 lessons in this video series truly have the power to change the way that teenagers think, live and worship.
Revolution 2 addresses the pressing topics of today's youth ministry culture including dealing with divorce, broken homes, smart dating, why bad things happen to good people, important decisions, and making a difference in their community. Revolution 2 also features a real-life look at students who went through a 24-hour poverty simulation to better understand how they can make a difference in their community.
A survey conducted by the Barna Research Group discovered that 83% of teens maintain that moral truth depends on the circumstances, and only 6% believe that moral truth is absolute. In this age of uncertainty, youth ministry leaders are looking for resources to guide teenagers towards Biblical truth. Accompanying the 5 DVDs, Revolution also includes a Leader's Guide that helps a youth ministry leader teach 13 weeks of relevant, Biblical lessons.
