A New Look for SYM This Christmas

SimplyJosh.com has now moved to DownloadYouthMinistry.com - follow this link to visit the new site with new posts everyday!

One of my tasks Monday is to come up with a holiday "look" for the new Simply Youth Ministry website in the spirit of the holidays. Got an idea to make it sweet? Should we just exchange the main logo for one with a Santa Hat? Replace all of the products with products wrapped in Christmas paper? String Christmas lights along the footer of the site?

No idea is a bad idea! Post a comment today and if the team digs it, we'll work it in!

PS: Is this just a shameless way for me to get you to do my work? Hmmm ... you're on to me. Hey, want to teach this weekend in High School Ministry, too? :)

You Should on the seven dwarfs dress them all up in different Christmas characters.

Scrouge
Rudolf
Santa
Grinch
The Elf
Mrs. Clause
Snowman (just make someone all white)
drummer boy
and so on

Whatever you do, it should incorporate Matt in a severely undersized reindeer suit.

what if you had a giveaway system of the 24 days leading up to Christmas. Hidden present icons, one each day in certain areas of SYM website? Doesn't have to be big, just fun way to visit site each day. Maybe giveaways are % off sale, certain $ amount credit, snapshot free for the final present???

You could decorate with lights across the top of the page. Piled up snow in the corner with a few ornaments laying on the snow. an occasional pic of staff member flash across screen wearing a christmas item (scarf, elf ears, reindeer suit)
