Pastor Rick led the all church staff meeting today. Here's some of the highlights that were particularly good from his talk on Hebrews 11:
- In his study of 100 growing churches, there was always one common denominator: leaders who weren't afraid to believe God.
- Faith often creates chaos.
- Let the size of your God determine the size of your goal.
- The original scope for church property in the master plan for our community was 8 churches of 1/2 acre each. Saddleback started on faith with 50 acres.
- Faith is obeying when I don't understand. Noah, Abraham, etc.
- God blesses faith.
