Been a while since we've been out of the house being sick and all from who knows what, so we enjoyed a nice afternoon up at Huntington Beach, getting some sun and eating at Ruby's at the end of the pier. Today we saw dolphins in the water, the Goodyear blimp, a guy that caught a sand shark on his fishing pole and plenty of folks catching waves on surfboards and wakeboards [see comments]. A nice relaxing afternoon - if you're ever over here in California, this is a place not to be missed.

Nicole pointed out that you don't catch waves like that on a wakeboard. Isn't that towed behind a boat? We spent the day there yesterday with our High Schoolers. Didn't see any dolphins but I did eat at Wahoo's so that made up for it.

you might be right ... is there such a thing as a shortboard? Bellyboard? Crap, I should know this.
And Wahoo's ... so good.

Dude - you're a poser! (look that up on wikipedia) Go back to Michigan and wakeboard on one of your lakes.
