This is a pretty good idea. Been on enough Canadian wilderness adventure camps to see some pretty good Bibles get pretty messed up during 7 days of canoeing and rain-soaked portages.

did you take students on a canadian wilderness adventure camp? if so, whcih one did you use? would you recommend it? for what ages?
we'd love to do this, but the cost [for the ones i've seen] has always been intimidating. -

I don't remember that particular company, it was a Christian thing out of Baptist Bible College in PA ... we met them in Canada, and it was a FANTASTIC experience. You pack everything, you eat what you pack, you learn SO much ... dude ... JG
